  Terrible city, doesn't take care of their citizens, doesn't enforce their code, doesn't enforce much of anything, domestic violence rings through the neighborhoods and can be heard from people's homes going unchecked. The police here seldom do anything other than camp on 8 mile and pull over people going 45mph. The judges of this city are crooked and disrespectful. Have been called "insane" for showing up to a speeding ticket, 75 on i-75, when I was 20 and informing the judge when he asked where my mother was that she was a mental illness. The police have come to respond to domestic violence, animal abuse, and destruction of property but have done nothing. The roads are full of potholes and have terrible upkeep. Dogs roam the streets and even if there is thorough recording and documentation of who owns it and what they need to do to fix their gates Animal Control will do nothing but fine the owner. This city is all about getting as much buck as they can for absolutely no bang.
